Each DVD will assist you to educate yourself and a child on the difficult topic of abuse and sexual abuse. Visit our store to learn more about our DVDs! |
These pages of the Web site have been designed especially for you! Over the years, we have been asked many questions about child abuse and about our curriculum Good-Touch/Bad-Touch®. Concerned adults and parents have been particularly interested in knowing more about childhood sexual abuse. Many concerned adults want to talk to their children about this subject but simply do not know how to approach it or are afraid they will scare a child. Often, adults feel overwhelmed at the task of taking such a difficult topic and talking about it with a child. We hope you'll find answers to the many questions you may have, as well as other information you'll want to know so that you can help keep your children safe.
Sometimes children cannot get the Good-Touch/Bad-Touch curriculum in their schools. That is why we have put together a Parent's Pack so that you may talk to your child about the difficult subject of sexual abuse. With this Parent's Pack, you can teach a child safe and fun rules so that you and your child can have an open and honest talk about the topic of sexual abuse.
We also offer two DVDs for parents. The first entitled "The Parent Talk— a conversation with parents" which is a DVD for you to watch on your own or with other adults. The second DVD entitled "Talk For Parents And Kids—Safety DVD" (link to product on store site) for an adult and child to watch together in the comfort of your own home. You will learn the Five Body Safety Rules around the issue of Good-Touch/Bad-Touch, how to stay safe from tricks, and how to tell someone. You, the concerned adult or parent, will learn how to intervene and what to do if something does happen or has happened to your child. We hope that the information contained here will motivate you to share this site with friends and relatives.
We also hope that you will be motivated to contact your neighborhood schools to let them know about the availability of the GOOD-TOUCH/BAD-TOUCH body safety education program. Together, we can make the world a safer place for our children!
